GC were selected as main contractor by Dolphin Energy for the huge gas pipeline project between Abu Dhabi and Qatar; being one of the largest projects ever awarded to JGC very careful attention was given to the selection of their project’s large automatic pipeline filters. Brackett Green won the order against international competition. These very large sea water filters will filter 2.8m ³ /Sec of sea water through 500 micron filter elements. Delivery is planned in 2005 and follows construction of 36 similar nuclear certified pipeline filters for the new nuclear power plant at Lungmen, in Taiwan.
