Sereya Power Station, Sereya Island, Singapore. 21/02/01
Sereya power has awarded Brackett Green a multi-million pound contract to supply screening and control equipment for Phase IV of its island based Sereya Power Station off the South Coast of Singapore.

The new phase of the Power Station will be fitted with 3 Dual-Flow band screens, each capable of passing up to 9m3/ per second of water, 3 Bar Screens and 29 Stopgates.

Brackett Green will also supply complementary control equipment, wash water systems and raking mechanisms. All equipment will be designed and manufactured in the UK, with an estimated delivery time of late July 2001.

Brackett Green has long been familiar with the Sereya Power Company, having been involved with initial phases of the Sereya Power Station in the late 1970s and early 1980s, and indeed the geographical region generally. Equipment has been designed and supplied for the Tuas, Jurong and Sinoko Intakes, and Bracketts has completed over 300 screening installations in South East Asia alone. Sales Director Peter Rowles comments: "Returning to fit out Phase IV of Sereya is fantastic, and our existing knowledge of the plant and its requirements means we just can't go wrong."
