| Brackett Green CF200 Band Screens have been developed to meet the increasing requirement of waste water fine screening.
Based on the Band Screen supplied for raw water applications and utilising features developed for the Brackett Sewage Drum Screen, the CF200 Band Screen has proved to be a reliable and efficient fine screen both as a retrofit for new installations on raw sewage and storm water. Effective ScreeningBy utilising the Brackett Green Center Flow Band Screen the problem of solids bypassing, or carrying over experienced with conventional in-channel band screens is overcome. With the ever increasing demand for the improvement of discharge standards, all unacceptable solids need to be retained by the screening system and this is assured by the Brackett Green CF200 Band Screen. Endless Band Mainchains, supported by two sprockets above deck, carry the screening band. Drive is provided by an electric motor through a shaft-mounted reduction worm gear unit. Underwater, the mainchains run in guide sections fitted with the wearing strips, located in a self-supporting fabricated frame. Patented Mesh Panel and Seal This design of mesh panel has become an established feature of Brackett Green sewage screens eliminating the problem of hair pinning and blinding experienced with conventional mesh materials. To prevent solids bypassing the Band Screen, the Brackett Green contact seal (Patent No. 0026.661) is utilised. Purpose designedBrackett Green CF200 Band Screens are designed to suit each individual application, with alternative flow patterns and construction enabling tailoring to fit existing arrangements. CF200 Band Screens can be constructed in a wide range of sizes up to 4m wide and channel depth up to 20m and can be readily installed in existing channels with the minimum of civil work change. |
